Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging units, within Student Affairs, provide support for students to reach their personal, academic, and professional goals through curricular and co-curricular engagement opportunities. The work is rooted in the goals of being more diverse, equitable, and inclusive to create a sense of belonging for students and other members of the university community.

Welcoming Dr. Crasha Townsend

Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging is pleased to welcome Dr. Crasha Townsend as the new Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, Dr. Townsend brings a strong record of advancing student success, fostering belonging, and building inclusive campus communities as she begins her role at Illinois.

Quad Day

Kick off the new academic year at Quad Day, one of Illinois’ longest-standing traditions and the nation’s largest student organization fair. Join us on Sunday, August 23, on the Main Quad to explore more than 700 registered student organizations, meet fellow Illini, and discover opportunities to get involved, build community, and make campus your own.

Staying on campus during university breaks? International Education’s Break Programs offer opportunities to explore the local community, connect with fellow students, and create meaningful experiences while classes are not in session.
